Title: Official Curtis Kitchen Thread
Post by: EllToPay on August 30, 2011, 03:20:01 PM
Just on 610. Some gems:

"K-State's offense is good enough to win a conference championship this year"

"Yeah, I really think K-State will go 9-3, 6-3"

"A 9 win season means Aggieville doesn't shut down for 3 days"

Yeah, Curt. Yeah.

9-3 is possible, it's just the absolute ceiling IMO and that requires the offense to not drop off at all and the defense to be at least average if not a little better than average.

I can possibly see the offense being as good as last year's, but not sure we can be ranked ~50 for team defense.

How many games did our defense lose us last year? All of them?

If our defense is any better at all it should be good for one or two more wins.

true, I guess non-optimistic zeal just wouldn't cut the mustard.

8-4 scared of Miami now. The zeal is always there but the optimism comes and goes.

8-4, but seems to be closer to 7-5 than 9-3.

Fears that Miami is an L now that the suspensions have been handed out and the more talented guys only missing this weekend's UMD game.

Joe Bob tells him there is basically no chance that Harold will be seen on the field this year (what a waste - my words).

Tells us what we already know about B. Brown - skipping "voluntary" workouts has him the doghouse. respect 610 guy (Fescoe?) asked "why is BB 3rd on the depth chart?", obviously showing that he has no understanding of what the word OR means on a depth chart. CK admits that if BB performs on the field, this whole  missing voluntary workouts will be quickly brushed under the rug. Classic Snyder moves...

Talked highly of the "stalky" Pease, but BB still clearly the best RB.

The thing is BB's concentration and focus will likely be highly improved because he skipped voluntary workouts.

Why you ask?

Because it seems he spent that time away on activities that emphasis those very skills. (http://cjonline.com/sports/2011-09-01/will-stars-align-brown-brothers-k-state)
