People on welfare go buy microwave tv dinners and other highly processed garbage because it's cheap and can stretch a budget. And soda. That's how they get fat.

That makes sense, but why are their children starving?

Because mom buys cigarettes, alcohol, and drugs with government funds. They should be receiving vouchers for food only, but the government has determined that to be detrimental to their psyche.

Yeah, but then why does mom weigh 300 pounds while her children starve?

If the government is going to insist on feeding the unwashed masses, they should have grocery stores arrange baskets of food that is actually healthy to eat.  If they can't support themselves financially, then they don't get to choose what they eat.

The government is so rough ridin' stupid it makes me sick.  You enable poverty by directly subsidizing it.  Then you allow the people receiving the subsidy to purchase whatever they want with it.  So, we already know they're rough ridin' lazy; of course they're going to buy the easiest meal to prepare they can find, regardless of cost or nutritional value because it isn't their money and they don't care.  Then we pay for their diabetes, heart, high blood pressure, etc. meds and treat them in hospitals when they suffocate on their own fat via Medicaid/Medicare.  THEN, after they've become so goddamn fat they can't walk, or have their foot sawed off from diabetes, we provide them with SS disability payments and let them park as close as possible to every fast food joint in America.  MEANWHILE they neglect their children and allow them to become malnurished and starve (restart aforementioned cycle only sub fat people disease and disability with starving children disease and disability).

If they're too stupid to earn money to buy groceries they are definitely going to be too stupid to pick out food that's doesn't make them a liability on our bloated entitlement expense report.

But no, our government chooses to indirectly cause its own financial train wreck.

Weed, Doritos and beer.

Nobody touches her Doritos and beer or you'll get slapped silly.

makes you look dumb when you say things like government cheese pays for booze and cigs.  Now the correct thing to say is that we give people too much and they spend their disposable income on crap because government cheese pays for living expenses.

I really hate welfare abuse, but it is so rough ridin' easy.  Just keep crapping out kids and let the government pay for it at all levels.

That was my point. They don't have any disposable income, but they are given ATM cards that can be used to buy anything they want. Here in California, they finally disabled them for use at casinos.

Because it would hurt their feelings and it isn't their fault that they are down on their luck, it is the Rich People's fault.
