I like the way you think, Chum. I haven't mentioned it before, but I would much prefer we go Indy rather than join some redneck, old timey conference. Plus think of the possibilities with Powercat TV(PCTV).
Being able to put together our own schedule would be fantastic. Get to play OU, UT, ND, Michigan, Auburn, etc. All the benefits of joining a super-conference ($$$, marquee games) without all the downsides (think games against Ttech, Okie Light, Miss. St. and the inherent losses that come with the Marxist equal revenue sharing).
While a ton of people claim super conferences would be indivisible, all I can think about is "Indy: Visible."

They cheat in the SEC as much as Nebraska.

The coaches don't seem as slimy as Tom Osborn, however.

The SEC is impossible to travel to. They don't have airports and if you go by train it's a 4 day affair (each way) through NYC. Not to mention driving there is a nightmare, literally, if you have a "colored" friend you constantly have to dodge Dodge pickup trucks full of white-robed lynching crackers. Not to mention the smell of corn whiskey is overpowering, even if you like whiskey.
Too stressful, imo. :sdeek:

You're thinking of Lawrence, right?

We'd lose a traditional rivalry with Texas (assuming Texas doesn't go SEC also).

As a fellow midwesterner/northerner who moved to the South and has been there for almost 2 years now, I can tell you one thing with certainty; THE SOUTH EFFING BLOWS !!
Everything about it, the ridiculous heat/humidity, the culture, the people.. Everything just effing sucks..
Now, with that said, I realize you guys aren't going to actually move the university to the south or anything.. Still, you'll be traveling there on road trips and opening up your community to these people during home game weekends.. It's probably not worth it b..
Plus, and I don't mean to offend anyone by this, but I'm not sure your recruiting is good enough to be a yearly competitor down there with the rampant cheating and backyard talent hotbeds.. I guess Texas has a similar thing going on (sans cheating) and your recruiting would probably receive a little bump just by moving to the SEC, just not enough of a bump IMO..

You just wait until DeLoss actually attracts Notre Dame on the condition that they don't play Michigan anymore. Then Michigan would be falling all over themselves to be a part of the TCAA. We will play you guys every year, and I apologize in advance for your annual ass kicking. This post is 100% serious, btw. I'm sorry.

I guess just strictly weather, sure.. However, I prefer the fall (although not LATE November as much) in the midwest/North than the falls down south..
Even still you would have to put up with the people and the gayness..

Is it true that Michigan is basically the dimwitted and chronically unemployed brother of Minnesota? I mean Jesus, how the hell did you guys let Detroit fall to crap so badly? I'm pretty sure I could buy a 3 bedroom house in Detroit with the change from the cupholder in my car and a couple packages of ramen noodles.
-
eff- Upper Peninsula?! More like Eastern Wisconsin! The only things Detroit is good for are dumpster fires, used needles, and getting murdered by hobos. You remember back when the Lions were good? Me neither. I went to a casino in Detroit once and they had a goddamn live chicken to gamble on which spot it would lay an egg. You know how stupid people from Detroit are? The car companies gave their jobs to rough ridin' Canadians! Canadians! What a kick in the junk that was. Hell, I'm not even sure people actually live in Canada so it's real possible moose are now doing the jobs that Detroiters used to do, before they got all poor and developed serious drug problems and started murdering the crap out of each other.

This ^^^^^ is all that needs to be said. But I'll say more. . .
Who wants to go to some freezing ass cold factory town in the winter where the people are so poor they smoke Always Save 100's and you can't even rent a car manufactured before 1997, when you can go to a nice warm climate where everyone wants to talk to you and shake your hand as if you were a celebrity, the food is good, the woman are delicious and the football play doesn't resemble the silent film era.

Do all guys have to wear slacks and a blazer to games or is that just the uniform for frat douchebags?? No offense to resident frat guys, I just prefer to wear shorts/t-shirt or jeans/hoodie depending on weather.
