If you omit all the off field stuff about Tebow and focus on results and ability-  how good is Tebow?  He seems like a Vince Young type talent to me.  VY was a pro bowler.  :dunno:  But yeah, the Tebow/Next coming crap is annoying.  Dude seems like a pretty good guy though.

This bad person needs to get off my TV asap. I've never seen so much attention for a back-up QB. Would love for him to start though, would be hilarious.

Already has started.  He's 2-3 with an 82.1 QB rating.

Wow, only threw for 3 yards and still carried a 118.8 QB Rating.  That's some pretty slick QBing.

Tebow is an odd character. He probably believes a rib woman took advice from a snake about eating some fruit and that's the origin of sin around 6000 years ago, right after the Earth was created by an invisible, inperceivable, all powerful, all knowing being that has the power to do such things but has to take your money because for some reason he can't handle that too well. Love that Tebow guy.

One time, I had a total stud football guy damn near kill me.  He helped me get up and then said, sincerely, "nice play, man."  Tebow is like that guy.  You think he's all nice and stuff but then (later) you think:  "That sonofabitch was mocking me, I just know it!"

Tim Tebow will NEVER be successful as a NFL Quarterback. Did you people see his throws...they were all to the sidelines...and did you see how the very talented Brandon Lloyd was screwed with him in as QB.

Denver fans and the Denver staff will rue the day that Tebow stepped foot in the Mile High Stadium.

There's something else totally non-football related going on with Tim Tebow.  People want him to play whether he sucks ass or not.  They don't even care if the Broncos win as long as he's playing.  I don't think it's Elway hangover syndrome.  The non-Tebow people know the franchise has to get it out of their system so they can move on.

I'm going to enjoy his visit to Arrowhead I think.  They'll probably beat the Chiefs in Denver really bad, though.

For every Tebow hate tweet I see, I see about a dozen "OMG WHY DO YOU PEOPLE HATE TEBOW IT'S BECAUSE HE IS A CHRISTIAN ISN'T IT" tweets.

Also, the fact that Sandusky raped some kids is not going to make me want to cheer for Tebow any more or less. It's just weird to correlate the two stories.

It's pretty cool, but at this point it's not worth the number of minutes dedicated to him during each and every sports broadcast. Why can't he just play decent for 4 quarters, instead of playing like crap for the first 3 and really well for the 4th? None of this makes me like him or dislike him. I like hearing about him, but not all of the freaking time.

i think most of the "i love tebow" crowd are only there because of the anti tebow crowd. most of the "i love him" crowd are really "wtf, why do people hate this guy so much/i better stick up for him crowd." hating him really is just people that are jealous of him and they don't totally know it, so they think they hate him.

Awful Bears D in the last 10 minutes of the game.  Broncos D is fantastic.  Remember, Tyler Palko was the last QB to beat the Bears.

I wonder if people are going to hate on collin when he's tearing up the league?

Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk

Yes, I think if Klien, after winning the Heisman Trophy, does a commercial with his mom that is to be shown during the super bowl, about how horrible the world would be if she had aborted him, then yes, some people will hate him.

I saw an interview today on local news and a reporter asked him about an SNL skit from this last Saturday that apparently poked fun at Tebow mania. Instead of answering the question or simply saying he thought it was funny or unfunny, he opted to talk about some guy who got his knee cap blown off in one of our wars and how he, Timmy Tebow, was going personally get him to the next home broncos game and hang out with him too.  Because that's what's really is important is the troops and 'merica and baby Jesus... I'm paraphrasing but you get the point. The guy just needs to relax a little bit.

I, for one, believe Tebow hate is, for the most part, a myth perpetuated by Tebow lovers.  Very similar to the myth perpetuated by Christians that Christians are persecuted in our country. And very similar to myth perpetuated by Bill Riley ever year around Christmastime about people persecuting Christmas lovers. Playing the disrespect card is old hat to these folks. It's practically part of the religion.

Also, it sounds like you are mad because Tim Tebow seems to think it's more important to show appreciation to a war veteran, than to tell a TV reporter if he watches SNL or not.

My apologies if I sounded mad... I'm not.

I do think it's peculiar that Tim thinks it's more important to incessantly toot his own horn than to answer a simple question from a reporter.

I don't hate Tebow, but I hate Tebow knobslobbers.

I read an article about that Bears WR that was selling pounds of drugs, the first line was "Apparently being on the same field as Tim Tebow last weekend didn't rub off on Sam Hurd."

I heard the same thing on FOX when Florida was in the title game a few years ago, the commentator actually said (after they aired a clip of a Tebow interview) that "just being around Tim Tebow makes you a better person"

That's what I hate.  :curse:

Pretty simple. I hate Tim Tebow because he proselytizes on the field and shills for the anti-gay, radical religious right group Focus on the Family.

Collin Klein probably believes in the same crap but basically keeps it to himself, which is good, because otherwise I'd feel pretty conflicted.

Because everyone was sucking his dick when Denver was winning, and he wasn't the reason they were winning. People are claiming him to be a good QB when in reality, he is terrible. The Tebow love fest was just almost excruciating to watch.

as a Christian you should probably understand a lot of Christian holidays that exist are based off of pagan beliefs. I could consider him a brainwashed christian if he really does preach love, but turn around and talk about homosexuality like its a disease that needs to be cleansed.   Something that was not by the teachings of Jesus, but by the church.  Regardless, I love Tebow because of his positive thinking and love for all things.  Unless he is a "beat the sin out of you, because I love you type person". That would just make me sad that he's a hypocrite and I would hope that he could emotionally mature enough to understand that whole thing about casting stones.  Kind of like a christian using a word like pagan/muslim/atheist/buddhist/etc. as a derogatory term.

So team in the 2nd round of the playoffs has Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) head coach and QB.  Got it.

You would be hard pressed to find someone that says they don't suck, healthy Chiefs team next year will skullfuck the crap out of those losers

Brady Quinn nails it, and so do Merriman and Suggs. Tebow sucks.

Finally, all the Tebow haters can be glad he is out of the media spotlight

Can't wait to see all the clever headlines the New York Post will come up with.

i still can't understand all of the attention that the guy gets.  he's an awful quarterback.  that's not even something that you could argue about.

The best the Broncos could do was a 4th round draft pick. People who try to say Tebow is good should probably think about that one.

most pundits were thinking 5th or 6th. broncos made out like bandits on this one.

Snag in the trade.  The Jets never actually read Tebow's contract.

When it comes to Tebow, never forget to read the ver boring (albeit important) piece of literature.
