Has anyone tried this? If you do what they claim (using the before, during and after drinks at the appropriate time) do you have a better workout? Is recovery better?
Thanks.
-
I doubt it

When you drink the gatorade with protein in it you will want to do this: :barf:

Brilliant marketing.
"One gatorade isn't good enough, you need 3 to really be healthy!"
-
I bet PW has. Poet?
-
I hear gatorade #1 and #3 are miserable tasting.
-
Gatorade is 100% marketing. The drinks taste like crap and are made out of crap ingredients that do more harm than good. As a marketer myself, I applaud them.

I have not, but thank you for thinking of me.
I do enjoy Gatorade when on sale.
Water is good, too.

Gatorade is horrible for you and people drink it because they think it is good for you. They win.

Better than soda
-
the only time gatorade might be considered "good" for someone is if a person is doing a hardcore workout, but that's about it.

When I worked construction during the summer in high school I would drink like 3-4 32oz bottles a day. The food coloring turns your crap green.

Just had my first sip of the "Recovery" drink.

Rockstar recovery is better (tasting).

This. Probably doesn't do crap though. God I am such a sucker for slick marketing
-
#1 is just a high carb sports drink
#2 is just gatorade
#3 is a shitty tasting protein shake.
Seems like you'd be fine with an apple, gatorade and a protein shake (and save money as well)
