Where would you start? Their idea of renovating is rolling lazy boys into the endzone.
-
Reading that list reminds me that Tulane and Rice had/have football stadiums on their campuses that could seat 70-80,000 people (before reconfiguration in the case of Rice).
-
The only reason we didn't make the list is because we don't have a track, and the East Side Expansion, at least from inside the stadium actually gives the place somewhat of a big time feel.

Close your eyes and imagine the new west side along with the east side exterior enclosed. It'll be like we're a real BCS school.

They are so far in debt, what can we do? :frown:

Isn't that what Trim's BBBS donations are for? Our little brother?

I thought this at first, as well. Gave my first 20 just because I have had so, so many great days in that place over the years. Then Trim PM'd me and said it was for real kids and crap...so I ponied up.
Point is, it's a crap hole and they do not have the money to stay in the game. Honestly, I am really concerned the State legislature will make us stay together. We will have a BCS facility, and nothing to show for it if hair brained Pres of theirs gets her way....zero $ to athletics and drag KSU down with her...that is her agenda. Sad.

Nothing. Let the Pac-12 deal with this charity case.

Not Tulane, did they? I thought they only played in City Park before moving to the Pooperdome? (might be wrong tho)
*Edit* Looks like you were right. I forgot about Tulane Stadium.
Good God, this looks far superior to either City Park or The Dome.

However, when you factor in that the horseshoe style opens up to a spectacular view of The Hill and the most beautiful campus in the nation, I think that more than makes up for the subpar structure and creates one of the best gameday atmospheres in the nation with the multiple tents set up with views of the playing field.
my goodness they just won't stop
