Do I take off the wheels or what? Or maybe walk to the store and ride the bike home?
:cyclist:
-
Take it home in your car if it can fit.
-
Quite the hippie quandary you find yourself in... Want to drive some little green machine but it's too small to even fit a bike in it. Why not just ride the bike home?
-
Less than five miles = ride
More than five miles = take off the wheels and drive
-
Less than fifteen miles = ride
More than fifteen miles = take off the wheels and drive
5 miles too much on a bike? That takes like 20 minutes.

he has to walk to his bike to pick it up. I don't know why he doesn't just have a friend take him.

Mapquest it. Then highlight on the map optimal downhill coasting. Plan on walking the rest. Follow this map diligently. Should prob drive it a time or two to get as familiar as possible.

I tried to ride my bike when I lived in Manhattan but man its hard to ride uphill.
-
I think it's adorable when fat folks ride bikes.
-
That hill on Manhattan Ave going towards Kimball is rough. Going down however is fantastic.

if you haven't ridden (roden) ((rode?)) a bike in 8+ years, do you lose to ability to ride the bike? or does it never leave you? (like my amazing forehand)

I don't think it ever leaves you.

No, it will be odd at first but you won't fall over or anything. Also, I lost the ability in my forehand. Almost got it all the way back last summer. Have only played once or twice this summer, so it sucks again.

Procedural memory is pretty much impossible to erase. Anything like biking, skiing, snowboarding, lifting weights, etc. would be really easy to do again even if you haven't done it for years.
