Sounds like a decent plan as long as she doesn't leave you at some point down the road.  Nobody is going to hire a deadbeat who has been sitting on his ass for the last 10 years (or however long it takes her to leave you).

My wife stays home with our kid.  She works harder now than she did when she worked.

It's not easy.  Your woman is smart.  She's pawning the harder job off on you.

Do you make substantially more than an immigrant nanny? If so, just hire one of them. Also, if you don't you should quit your job on principle.

Sounds like a great gig, until she inevitably starts sleeping with a co-worker because she no longer respects her emasculated husband.  It's only a matter of time before the balance of power tips entirely in her favor, and no woman wants to stay married to a man she perceives inferior.  That's of course if you don't sense the same shift in power, feel trapped in your subservient reality, and cheat on her first.  Just my $0.01, but I suggest you resist the temptation.  You think your boss is bad now, wait 'til the "smart ass slut" starts cracking the whip.

you couldn't pay me crap tons of money to stay at home with my kids all rough ridin' day.  I'll stick to the crappy job that pays me enough to put me in the middle class category and wait for when my kids are old enough to not like me anymore before I enjoy being a lazy ass sitting around doing nothing.

By far the best town on 24, if you consider it part of the "24 Towns" and not a Topeka suburb.  Either way, it blows St. Mary's (sorry Wintz) and Belvue out of the water.

Love driving by the football stadium there.

I'm pretty sure there's a sect of the Catholic church consisting of only a couple hundred people (tops) that claim to be the true Church.  They don't follow the practices laid out by Vatican II (which means, among other things, their masses are said in Latin) and they have their own Pope.  According to them, the true Pope.

They're considered heretical by the Vatican.

Pretty interesting stuff for the quiet little town on 24.

Once got pulled over in St Mary's, got a warning.

Anyway I like St Mary's better than Silver Lake.  We always talked about doing a pre-game Hwy 24 trip, stopping in every town for one beer on the way to a Cats game, but never followed through.

My wife grew up in the cult.  I have been with her for a few years now, and she is still coming up with stories about how crazy they are.  Examples: Swimming in public pools is not allowed because it is immodest, her mother likes to commit arson on things she considers to be "the devil", etc.   Good reasons to hate them include the fact they are anti-semitic, dont believe in educating women, dont allow interracial dating, are just a huge bunch of assholes in general, and Mel Gibson is a member.  They could best be described as "evil"

Take HWY 24 instead of I70 to all Cats game.  Pretty nice drive west of Topeka.

Seems like according to this site, there are no Catholics living in St. Mary's:

Sounds like a great gig, until she inevitably starts sleeping with a co-worker because she no longer respects her emasculated husband.  It's only a matter of time before the balance of power tips entirely in her favor, and no woman wants to stay married to a man she perceives inferior.  That's of course if you don't sense the same shift in power, feel trapped in your subservient reality, and cheat on her first.  Just my $0.01, but I suggest you resist the temptation.  You think your boss is bad now, wait 'til the "smart ass slut" starts cracking the whip.

She'll probably be giving Mike W a call.
