We are going ALL OUT for Perry Ellis.
We have put great prospects like Ashley and McGary on the backburner for the hope of Ellis. At this point we are almost all-in for Ellis. There is no doubt in my mind that we are in Ashley's top 7 if we go after him like we have gone after Ellis. We'd likely be on top for McGary if we went after him like we have gone after Ellis.
Looking at Ashley's list, I hope he commits to Kentucky. Ashley is ranked ahead of Ellis, and is of a similar size to Ellis. No way those guys go to the same team. IMO, UK is our biggest competition for Ellis.
Everything that I have read/heard/seen makes me think that KU is the perfect fit for Ellis. He is Marcus Morris 2.0. The perfect 4 in our Hi-Low. Ellis has the all-around game that makes our offense purrr. He can pass, dribble, spot-up and shoot, post-up and make moves, and even hit shots out to 3-land. The 4 is such an important spot in Bill's O; and when a 4 can do what Ellis/Marcus can do... It makes KU downright nasty.
PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, COMMIT TO KU ELLIS

Ellis.

ALL OUT or ALL IN?
controversy!
-
It just makes sense.

Ellis.
-
I don't think I have the heart to tell them he is being recruited by Duke.

Question clams: do you see the Player's as providing Perry with the necessary moral guidance, ethical leadership and x's/o's that he needs to make it next next level? Sure he's a high major prospect. Given. But can he take his down home game to the big city NBA?
-
poor man's tony kitt
-
I could see him going to ku
if he has no aspirations to play in the NBA.
-
Ellis is good. But Ellis will do what Ellis wants to do. If Ellis ends up at KU I think it will be a mistake for Ellis but it is Ellis' choice.

Here's the thing about Ellis- Ellis is always going to be, and will never be anything but, Ellis. That is to say that Ellis is Ellis, he's not Tony Kitt as SD has suggested, he's Ellis. Can Ellis take his game to the NBA? No one knows at this point, except maybe Ellis. And if Ellis does know whether or not Ellis will make it to the league, Ellis hasn't told anyone- not even Ellis. There you have it, that's all I have on Ellis.
-
who's more important to ku at this point: ellis or self?
-
WhatTheEllis . . . WTE (for short)
-
Kentucky doesn't like him enough to outbid ku. He will go to Lawrence, Self will make up an injury, he won't play tons, ku fans will turn on him, he will transfer to WSU.
-
Heard this kid is a K-State lock. KU offered him, but everyone knows K-State is the premier program in the state. Hopefully someday KU will be able to close the gap.

You fellas gotta take it off cruise control and go all in.
