hence, deficit..
and from the deficit we get economic instability which justifies a means to an end for companies to lay off their labor force.
and the biggest hoodwink of all time, the conservatives have us convinced that its all our fault. Pretty genius I'd say.

So the deficit has nothing to do with squandering TRILLIONS of dollars on crap government programs, illegal wars, etc?

The top 20% pay about 80% of the total income taxes.
http://ntu.org/tax-basics/who-pays-income-taxes.html
Notice how the rich began bearing a larger burden of the total tax bill post so called "tax cuts for the rich" (which lowered tax rates in all brackets). Since you are complete retards without brains, I will tell you the lowered marginal rates went into effect for the lowest brackets in FY 2001 and the higher brackets beginning FY 2003.
All tax rates pre-2001 can be attributed to Liberal Fiscal Hero Billy J. Clinton, the guy who pillaged $3.4 trillion from Social Security to run a "balanced budget".

It's cool, right? I mean, SS seems to be pretty solid right now.
