What a bunch of pansies. Just drink the piss water. It's perfectly safe.
-
it's sterile and besides I like the taste of it
-
This is all Portland's fault, really. I mean who leaves treated water in an open reservoir for somebody to come piss in it, and then doesn't treat it further before reentry into the system?
-
Bird crap
-
in other news, bear grylls just bought an apartment in portland

I especially liked the tard in the comments section who wanted them to run a DNA analysis on the water to find the perpetrator. It was even better than the commenter who was afraid the dude might give the whole city aids.
-
what a bunch of FPs. they should really be asking the hard-hitting questions like if they ever got the dead junkie strainer installed on the effluent pipe.

Do people still drink tap water? :ck:
-
Do people still drink tap water? :ck:
you realize that there is no difference between tap water and bottled water, right?
-
Do people still drink tap water? :ck:
In places like Colorado and I'm guessing Oregon, tap water tastes amazing. It's always cold, too. Places like OK, TX, and to a lesser extent KS, all taste like dirt and crap.

Feel free to drink piss water if you enjoy that sort of thing. I will be enjoying my Gerolsteiner.
-
so first i agree it is rediculous to drain all that water...
but, really? if I dipped a cup into the reservoir it would be exactly the same as if I'd filled it from my sink? i really wouldn't think that is how it normally works...
-
Manhattan tap water is fantastic
-
i always drink out of the tap. Bottled water seems like a waste.

i just shot a video at a city water treatment plant, made me feel a lot better about tap water. no worries, bro. but go ahead and spend money on the exact same thing that just has a label on it.

It's not. I would wager that the guy who said that was misinformed. If not, at Portland's water supply system.
-
Manhattan tap water is fantastic
I agree with this. I used to put a filter on the faucet, but I don't see a need to anymore. Tastes fine.
-
would not worry about the junkie.

The filter on the faucet can be a good idea, depending on where you live. There are standards set for drinking water contaminants that can cause both short term and long term health complications, but there are no standards for contaminants that affect taste/cause gas/act as a laxative. Depending on your water source, and especially if you live in a city with very conservative leadership, bottled water could very well be of a higher quality than tap water.

Sprinkler line water looks like this too. Just sits there at all times getting rusty and stagnant. Disgusting

Love how people spend money to drink bottled water that usually comes from municpal sources. Oh, and you better be recycling those bottles you Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!). :shakesfist:
-
I would be tempted to send Al Quaida a photo of that open air drinking water reservoir, if I could be assured that Beems would be the only one poisoned.

Another municipal piss drinker outed. :flush:

I don't get the hate for bottled water if you are drinking it for the right reasons.
When I am home, I certainly do not drink it but when going somewhere it is handy.
-
KC,MO has some of the best tap water in America. :kstategrad:

Not all bottled water is created equal. Most of it is just filtered tap water, and now they must put the source of the water on the label. I only buy the natural spring water. The worst bottled water ever is Arrowhead; you can actually taste the piss. :barf:

The Culligan man brings me my 20 gallons of water each month to the house, then I fill up my stainless steel bottle once or twice a day.
Tap water is gross.
Brita is incredibly inconvenient and still tastes like crap, but I understand some people are poor and it is a small step up from tap.
Bottled water leaches chemicals, especially in the heat.

we had a culligan type thing at our place when i was in college. totally big timing every other college student at the time. what's that? you want some hot water? no prob. just head over to the water cooler in the kitchen and press the red button. blue if you want the super incredibly cold water that doesn't even need ice. yeah. tap water? lol. i mean, nobody drinks that anymore right?

What is this "it" that you're referring to? I don't see anything. Is that the list of 5*s that Bill landed this year?

not sure if serious,
but if you're talking about Culligan, they'll give you the water cooler rental and 3 five gallon bottles of water for $25/mo, or you can do 4 five gallon bottles for $30/mo. They are in Manhattan every friday so if you need more or less all you have to do is call and they take care of it. Other than that they come once a month, drop it off at my front door and pick up the empties.

You mean you don't have a water purifier already installed in your fridge?
I have one, but it's not like I ever use it. I prefer Evian.

I know right. I mean, lets have a giant pitcher that you got at Walmart for $3 taking up space in the fridge. I had one of those in college but I got tired of drinking charcoal specks. It really must suck to have went to KU and be so poor. :kstategrad:

ogallala aquifer water is about the best tasting water in the world.

Is Ben really trying to brag about a rough ridin' $10 brita pitcher?
It's like ku grads are so used to being PWT they don't know any better.
-
I told my brother that you can piss into those filter pichers and drink the water that comes out. The dumb ass tried it!

My folks have always had culligan. Pretty damn delicious. I didn't realize it was so cheap, I'll be calling them up on Monday.
