Title: Olive Garden holding Lawrence Kansas Hostage

Clearly, the people have spoken.  They would eat the crap out of Olive Garden.  So, why is Olive Garden holding Lawrence hostage by insisting on costly tax abatements?   :dunno:

You have it backwards.  Olive Garden would kill to get into Lawrentucky.  It's Lawrentucky that doesn't want Olive Garden.

Olive Garden is Italian food, right?  Makes you wonder just how far the people of Lawrentucky will go to keep foreigners out of their town.

All in all, it is the largest and most beautiful restaurant now operating in Grand Forks. It attracts visitors from out of town as well as people who live here.

Suck it Lawrence

At length, I asked my server what she would recommend. She suggested chicken Alfredo, and I went with that. Instead of the raspberry lemonade she suggested, I drank water.

On a hot summer day, I will try the raspberry lemonade that was recommended

I don't understand. Lemonade tastes better in the summer, but worse than water in the winter?
