Seriously, dude has cancer. Is there anybody (besides Lew and Roy) whose life KU doesn't ruin?
-
Too bad he's not staying. I'd like to see KU use KSU's strategy of employing coaches who are on the brink of death. Seems to work pretty well.
-
Pretty sure Mangino is on the brink of death.
-
Precisely.
Maybe if you guys could make some racist death threats to Gill he'd get his act together.

guy purposely got cancer to avoid coaching with gill. sad.
Thoughts and prayers.
-
Any under-qualified position coaches with a lazy eye on staff to take his place?
-
And the Cancer billboard goes up in June. :shakesfist:

Such a low-class move. EMAW supports Torbush's prostate.

ku fans are doing plenty of this already. Anymore would be overkill.

Cancer billboard has been up for weeks
-
Pretty obvious that KU gave him cancer as a publicity stunt.
-
Why not Cosh!!?

Kansas has found a new defensive coordinator after Carl Torbush retired Tuesday because of a prostate cancer diagnosis.
The Jayhawks didn't have to look far after they named cornerbacks coach Vic Shealy Torbush's replacement. Shealy will be joined by defensive line coach Buddy Wyatt as co-defensive coordinator.
first of all. Terrible news about Torbush. Just horrible.
second, more bad news for KU fans though..since KU's staff is"promoting from within"...which in this case means no qualified coordinator in their right mind would join Turner Gill's terrible staff. You all remember how Tim Tibesar got his job with Prince.
Sean Snyder approves this message.

Most Division One head coaches forced to replace an experienced defensive coordinator with fall camp just a couple of months away would likely find themselves scrambling. Not Turner Gill. For him, the best choices to fill the void were right down the hall.
RIGHT DOWN THE HALL!!!

Does the new guy have a lazy eye?
