5: Consistent winner with potential to be BCS bowl contender every season
4: Potential to join the sport's elite in the near future
3: Recent mediocre results but seems to be building momentum
2: Recent success but seems to be headed in wrong direction KSU & KU
1: Below-average program with little success in past or future
not deflating by any means
classifies turner gills first year as an unmitigated disaster
also notes the mess left by prince
found his comments on WVU to be the most interesting....considering the HCIW was thrown out of a casino recently

I'm torn between 2 and 3.
It's 2.
I'd like it to be worded like this:
Recent mediocre results but seems to be headed in wrong direction.

Prediction of future success with a 107 year old head coach? Surprised we got rated as high as a "2".

Is imminent death a direction?

I'd score Michigan at a 10, easily..

Mark Shlobnob gives Nebraska a 5 on his ultra-scientific scale.
I've really got to laugh at that.
Although, in the now watered down Big 10..NU climbed one notch to maybe the 3rd or 4th best team in that league.
They were embarrassed in their bowl game by Washington.

Totally awesome big 10
Oh yeah, I forgot we have that new totally gay insignia or whatever the hell.. I liked the old one where it said Big Ten but you could see the 11 kind of hiding in there like a where's waldo, but this new one sucks" big 10 " Where is the 12 ??
I don't see it Jim, kind of like the "Leaders and Legends" names for the divisions, sounds like a 'Magic The Gathering Clans' and not the most superior football conference in the world (which it clearly is)..

Huskers will win the Big 10 this year. There, I said it. I threw up in my mouth and it makes me uncomfortable to think it to be true, but who else will it be?
tOSU is mumped, even though people around here (NE Ohio) seem to think that the QB (Braxton Miller) replacing Pryor will be better. I don't see it, at least not this year. Michigan is not in the same class as NU yet. Neither is Iowa, Purdue, Northwestern, etc. Penn St. is too clean of a program. Wisconsin is replacing some talent, they may be the 3rd team in the race. Plus, NU gets tOSU in Lincoln.

OSU is clearly better, but probably not sans Pryor.. Braxton Miller is good but has a very long way to go as a passer, I think Bauserman ends up getting the gig in Pryors absence.. Anyway, yeah, Nebraska has a good shot to win it this year, but I can't help to think back to when PSU joined the conference and everyone thought they were going to be winning it every year.. They had a little success early but for the most part got destroyed..

PSU join the Big Ten the season after their Rose Bowl annihilation of Oregon? 93ish?
I do recall Ki-Jana Carter dominating just about everyone that year.

Bausman is probably the logical choice to start the year. You probably start off better with him, but Miller will be difficult to keep off the field. Pretty dynamic kid. Plus, the fans/boosters will be clamoring for Miller. Likely still having the interim tag, I'm guessing Fickell will start him by mid-season. Either way, the Huskers are beating them in Lincoln.

Evidence currently suggests you are in fact a dumb person. Tighten up Cleveland.

And what evidence suggests this? I'm very interested. Other than the obvious double post......cocaine is a helluva drug
