I may be moving to KC. Where should a handsome, good smelling 30 yr old dude live in KC?

When speaking with people outside of KC I tell them I live in KC. When speaking with people in the metro area you have to cut it down to those regions. I mean, I work in Olathe, so if someone at work asks me where I live, and I tell them Kansas City, I'll probably get this look. :dubious:

"Kansas City is so big man."
"Yeah I know it has boroughs just like NYC!"
"West Bottoms man. West Bottoms."

Also, why live in the Plaza if you can't brag about it?

KC proper is larger by land area than NYC. Doesn't seem outrageous to differentiate neighborhoods when it can take up to an hour to drive from one end of the metro area to the other. Or should Manhattanites just start saying they live in Topeka?

Cool, but I already live closer to the gas station.

"Which Chipotle you at bro? I've been waiting here like 5 minutes!"
"The one on 39th. Did you go to the one in Mission again? LMAO!"
"OMG! Same as last week!"
"We definitely need to specify boroughs bro. What do I always say?"
"Kansas City is bigger than NYC! I know bro, I know."
"Well, let's take it to go and meet up in Prairie Village. Try to fit in 9 at Indian Hills before the mother-in-law starts up again."
"Hear ya. Over and out."

Love Okie Joe's. Nothing better.
-
Tannahill waited an hour and a half in the rain to eat there today. Not sure what that says about OK Joe's.
-
nick wright's ridiculous campaign against it has made me more of a fan than I was before despite the tannahill love

yeah, he had a few tweets today bashing it. one of which featured the word "homeboy" which was nice.

Nick Wright should not tweet. He's like a low rent more annoying white guy version of Whitlock. Not sure that even makes sense, but he kind of defies description.
Tim Wise does what Nick Wright wants to do better than Nick Wright could imagine doing it.

This is going to change my life. I live almost walking distance from there. Wow. Within the span of a year I get a La Bodega, Trader Joes and a OK Joes....and already had a Blanc and a Blue Koi.
Wow.

Some sort of amazing looking Thai place is going in next to La Bodega. Looks fancy. I like fancy Thai food.

Thai food and the company of Pete at the same time? JFC, I might be rescinding my 'will never pak' attitude.
-
Yeah, the Pete/fancy Thai food combo is pretty dreamy. Bet he even orders for you, IN THAI!
