Title: Old Stadium/Memorial Stadium
Post by: DQ12 on May 13, 2011, 12:14:34 PM
What a waste of real estate.  I vote we bulldoze the place, but they're putting in that "Visitor Center" on the southeast corner.  Real estate experts, please chime in and give your thoughts.

Keep it.  Incredible place for midnight bocce when you've already had 11 beers and want a leisurely activity to play while you drink four more beers before finally going back to your apartment to drink two more after that and fall asleep in your Pizza Shuttle.  That was a run-on sentence, but it was a run-on night.  wow.

The old stadium should remain as is. It's a great place to play football/ultimate frisbee.

Your crap could be moved to the rec fields.  No need for a giant rugby/cricket field on campus.

No.  You're wrong.

That area would make a great place for a "Central Station"-esque hub for the underground heated lazy river.  Not some crappy, old hunk of concrete.

Get with the times K-State.  I love you, but get with the times. lmao.

like this.  I think the place should stay open-field like.

maybe a classy vineyard?  Think of the picturesque sunsets!

if not those, then make a sludge pit for tractor fights.

Recruiting violation.  Cannot have something as perfect as a vineyard surrounded by limestone on a college campus.

The only possible change is to cover it and turn it into a pizza oven.

Pant the chant just seems so unbelievably weird/stupid/homoerotic to most people, I think.  "Hey, check out these skits!  Sigmas are the best!!!!"
