Intrigued.  Looking to try making some. 

Anyone have some fav greek dishes they have made at home?

Gyros! Fatoush is good if done right. Also stuffed grape leaves.

Hummus is an obvious one that you can make a bunch of adjustments to in order to spice it up, but I also love falafel.

Yes, I love humus.

also really want to try falafel.

It's basically adding a bunch of flour to hummus and baking it in olive oil. It's a little more complicated than that, but just slightly.

greek food is disgusting.  terrible.

hummus isn't greek fwiw.  i make homemade hummus, prob the best in KC.
