local news did a story on the guy that runs that place earlier this week.  this is the third or fourth time that he's given a date as the end of the world

Heard an interview with a d00d last year who started a pet care biz for those who plan on being taken during the Reckoning and are concerned about who will take care of Muffin and Mr. Bojangles afterward.

So this d00d was selling what was effectively pet care insurance to people who will not have no way of proving if he is actually following through or not.

Genius.

It's pretty surprising that they think that somebody who believes in the Reckoning enough to open a business that revolves around it happening wouldn't also get taken when the Reckoning came.

He was very up front and said that their is no way he would be taken.  lol

This is the part I don't get.  He comes right out and said that he and his national network of pet care professionals are all not at risk of being taken by Jesus, but he gets Christians to trust both their pet and money to a guys that is obviously not "a good person" per their religion.

They didn't predict the end of the world. They just stopped adding dates to their calendar. You have to stop somewhere, right?

The world will be here until the sun expands and burns it up.  People will not be on the earth to see that.

But Apes will be here!  Damn dirty apes!   :shakesfist:

Quote
Liberty hired former Baylor AD Ian McCaw to serve as athletic director.

McCaw stepped down as athletic director at the end of May as part of Baylor's massive institutional overhaul in the wake of their sexual-assault scandal. He served as Baylor's athletic director for 13 years prior to this spring's detonation. With Liberty, he will replace Jeff Barber, who resigned in November. In a statement, President Jerry Falwell said, "Ian's success really speaks for itself. You look at what Baylor was able to do during his tenure, it fits perfectly with where we see our sports programs going."
