I tend to stick to the one's that involve pre-emptive war that violates nearly every charter and doesn't have congressional approval, U.S. hegemony via drone/F-15/M1 tank, geo-strategic positioning to thwart our rivals under the guise of humanitarian missions/"spreading" democracy.
I also find it extremely fascinating that the majority of Obamabots who if it weren't for the fact that a Democrat occupies the Whitehouse, would be having mental breakdowns at the massive involvement in world affairs currently underway by the U.S. Military and the various intelligence entities that the U.S. posses.
It's funny that so many gleefully cheer on the U.S. blowing up mudhuts clear across the world, yet don't seem to be the least bit concerned that the U.S. can't secure its own borders.

I like conspiracy theories and theorists, even if I don't believe almost any of it. Some points:
1. Conspiracy theories do indeed happen.
2. Even in this age of information, with mass reporting of events, the internet tracking it all, and communication flowing freely... none of that holds a candle to the social risks required to ask some fundamental questions. We don't tolerate people asking questions that could have ugly or paradigm shattering consequences.
3. It would be laughably easy to get away with a conspiracy. You don't have to do crap if you're in power. The masses will cover your ass for you because of #2.

Beems is right. We were right to go into Afghanistan after 9/11 because their Taliban government was harboring terrorists. As soon as the government was overthrown, we should have pulled our asses out of there. If the government really knew Osama was in Pakistan 5 years ago, we should have been in Pakistan 5 years ago.
