I just figured it's about time someone came out and raised this issue. I've certainly got an opinion, but I'm going to hold off -- I don't want to sway the results...

I don't think I've ever had one

Damn you SD and your perfect ways! :ShakesFistAtSD:

I have never had them either, though I became curious after watching the movie "Friday."

Maybe we should just lock this thread, and I'll go find a different message board where humans with flaws post. :blank:

Always thought it had something to do with the actual nail. Pretty  when i figured out what they really were. I get them every Winter. If i have a nail clippers handy...no biggie.

chew them off.
dry winter weather=dry skin around the nails=hangnails.
Yes its gross.

I'm not really sure what they even are? The shards of skin that get torn up around your finger nails that are barely visible at first but then when you pull them off they tear like an inch of skin off your finger and bleed/hurt like f*ck? if so, then yes, I get them every winter.

that's them.
real God Damn Men rarely get hangnails because the shea butter lotion we use keeps our skin moist and prevents it from drying to the point that a hang nail would form.
