I am an Industrial Engineering Student at K-State. In our senior design class we are required to design, manufacture, and market a K-State product.
This year we decided to make a wine rack and our company name is Willie Works. We are making a limited number of these and we only have 30 left. They are going fairly fast. If you want more information about the wine racks or want to buy one you can visit our web-site at www.willieworksllc.com

can you engrave a turtle on the front?
-
looks like a piece of crap
-
i don't see any information about how many boxes of wine this will fit. i assume 1.5 based on max bottle occupancy?
-
If I have that thing mounted on my wall (with extremely sturdy anchors) and I happen to slip on a banana peel while I am pulling out a bottle, how much force will it be able to take before all those dowels fail and multiple bottles of wine come raining down on my head?
BTW, Love the addition of the mirror. Gives me one more place to check if I have some stray chew caught in my teeth.
-
I love turtles almost as much as my cats, but definitely more when consuming wine. I will buy one of these contraptions, but will probably give as a gift if you only engrave powercats. Will keep for personal use if you can add a galapagos tortoise.
-
LOls we have mutual friends
-
Can it hold bottles of Scotch instead of wine?
-
i'll take two in limestone w. copper hardware. pakhead engraving. pm when they're ready to be picked up.
-
If I buy this product with the powercat logo, how much of my money will be paid back to the University in licensing fees?
And can I get the option to direct all of the licensing fee I pay to go toward Frank's salary? (Will not buy if this might help Sean Snyder)
-
This is IE's senior design project? Notify K. Schulz. His plan to upscale KSU needs a few more years.
-
this brings back great memories of being a student at kstate and half assing class projects.
-
This is more of what I am looking for in a wine rack.

I can't think of a better place to promote this product than right here on goEMAW.com.

-
Could the PAK head replace the powercat?
-
the use of oak and mirrors really brings back memories of classy 1980s water bed frames.
-
I don't think that will fit in my fridge. :ck:

yes, and also of contemporary "country crap" decor.
-
holy high school wood shop intro project, batman.

90$

Pro Tip: If you're an engineering student in college, learn the difference between SELL and SALE.
-
Pro Tip: If you have free reign over the use of KSU trademarks just buy an actual good wine rack for, like, $10 and then slap a powercat on it and sell it to rubes.

90$
:horrorsurprise:
plus $23 shipping.

BTW, the blond chick is hot. Sell noods.

Might as well say "don't be wet, water" :fatty:
-
If I saw that at a AIDS/Cancer fundraiser garage sale for 20 bucks I'd offer 15.
-
don't be creepy mikey
sorry...

This is why IE's should leave product design to the real engineers, and focus more on optimizing factories, traffic flow, and all that other non-engineering bullshit.

Go to your local high shcool and say I'll provide the wood and stain if you can build these. They will get all 6 to you in about a week.

is it possible to substitute Viaka bottles for wine bottles?
-
is it possible to substitute Viaka bottles for wine bottles?
Not on this wine rack. You would preferably want a liquor that was not at all worth the expensive price tag. Perhaps a Patron or a Grey Goose.
-
BTW - did you not ever take english. "For sell"?
-
Pakhead that rough ridin' thing or GTFO.
Also, donate at least 50% of proceeds to BBBS.

I love your idea, but I have a few post-production modifications that I'd like to suggest...shouldn't take to long to retrofit your remaining stock.
First, I am a HUGE live music and piano enthusiast, as are a TON of the guys on this site. So, I am suggesting a little "tickling of the ivories" theme here, if you know what I mean. However, lets get a bit snazzier and make this really "pop" by going with purple keys. We may have to make those minor keys white, or gray...not sure, use your judgment on this one.
Second, while I like the engraved powercat on your design, it was a bit too subtle. It's like sticking a tiny powercat on your washing machine....people see that and say "why the eff do you have a powercat on your washing machine?" Instead, you have to make the powercat the center of the attention....they'll say "sweet powercat hombre...OH MY GOD IT'S ALSO A MOTHER rough ridin' WINE RACK!" See, better.
Third, Security. As we've learned with the recent murder in Manhattan, it just isn't as safe as it used to be. We need to think about the preservation of our assets. That's why I am STRONGLY recommending the inclusion of a police grade taser to the wine rack, and a key fob system. If you do not possess the fob on your person theN BAM! rough ridin' tased. PEACE OF MIND RESTORED.
Fourth, it would be negligent to just taser poeple without a warning, and the last thing that we need is a rough ridin' product liability suit eating up the scarce resources of the School of Engineering. So, we need to include a motion sensor with a 120db horn/speaker unit. I've already spoken with Limestone's wife and she is willing to do the voice work for the warning...her voice is terrifying.
Please get back to me asap with your your ETOD. If you want, we can take orderS for you here on the site, but I'm warning you now, I am not going to be the one who writes the rough ridin' back order apology letters...that's on you....add some rough ridin' staff or a second shift.

I want one of these. I really like that it looks like it has room for more than a evening's supply of wine, and I'm going to be in the market for a piano shortly. Can we disconnect the taser and use it ourselves to make our wine parties more fun?

I am doing one for my IMSE project next semester. They will have a brass powercat embossed to the side. It will cost 57.95 plus shipping and handling.

hmmmm, not real fond of brass (4/20 lolz) so i'll only be needing two. tia.
