He is solely responsible for raising Texas from an athletic program that was certainly pretty stout financially but nothing all that special, to a financial titan that can afford to spend tens of millions of dollars on facilities, coaches or whatever at will.   The scary thing is, will he be Texas next AD when DeLoss retires?  If so, if he's fully engaged in that job they'll be able to open up another printing press because the guy can work a room and kiss babies better than most politicians.

maybe he'll run for tx governor and make everybody pay taxes to UT  :surprised:
