Alligator meat has a surprisingly delicious and mild taste for those trying it for the first time. Alligator tail (the part of the alligator where the meat comes from) can be cooked any number of ways, but what we will discuss here is gator meat cooked on the grill.
If you haven't tried it, you should. Delish.
Have been toying with an idea of starting an alligator farm. Seems like there is an opportunity there with the foreclosure market and rescue shelter overcrowding.
Wish Copeland's was still open.

Tastes like chicken, from what I remember eating it about 16 years ago.

The few times I have had it, it was very tender and delish. :dunno:
