Title: Bookies?
Post by: Fedor on March 25, 2011, 11:30:07 PM
Anybody know a way to put some action down on NCAA BB?  If the squawks are going to the FF essentially unopposed, I might as well make some scratch.  Is Bodog still an option, or did they get shut down.

Pretty sure Bodog is still good.

You can try steve dave, so long as you weren't planning on using paypal or anything like that and are cool with HANDWRITING A rough ridin' CHECK.

Too late Bodog just got another customer, 10% bonus :emawkid:.  TSC all the way to the bank.

Bodog is an awful book with unreliable payouts. Not that you'll need to get paid out — you'll just lose and redeposit, lose more and redeposit, and will continue to do so until you simply can't afford to gamble anymore.

Also, a 10% deposit bonus is nothing to write home about, particularly when better sports books like BetJamaica offer a 100% match deposit, and others—like The Greek, 5Dimes and Bookmaker — offer anywhere between 15% and 25%.

Why did you withhold all this previously?  Because you wanted to handle it and offer no bonus?  I won't lose, that is for suckers and degenerates.

I was hoping you would take me up on my offer but also figured you'd ask a few questions before you chose a sportsbook. In any case, you don't have anything to worry about with Bodog (except slow payments). They still have a very strong reputation and you'll get your money ... eventually.

Best books (per SBR):

A+ — Bookmaker, 5Dimes, BetJamaica, The Greek, Legends, Diamond
A — Bodog
B+ — BetOnline, others

How did you fund it?  Last I checked with bodog they would not take credit or debit cards from the US?

I guess I am a sucker after all.  I did view this as an emotional hedge, if ku won at least I would have some money out of the deal.  But they choked big time and by god it was worth every penny.   I am taking full credit for the loss, btw.  I am a true EMAW hero for my sacrifice, where is my medal?

Is it proper betting etiquette for you to ask?  Let's just say it was a jaw dropping amount to most people, but since I am a KSU alum and therefore fabulously wealthy (and handsome), it was mere chump change.
