i hope the children appreciate that these donations are more interesting than just standard check-writing.  i'd like to picture some orphany child huddled by a tv hoping against hope in the closing minutes.

the emotional hedge is my signature bet.  it was always extra great in manhattan because the local bookies would always be moving the line against the cats because all the towny money was coming in on them.

Any truth to the Snyder Conspiracy back in the day . . . when in the gamblers mind Snyder tended to "run it up" on those big spread games?

I think snyder just likes to run it up on all teams when possible.  I was happy to give away money to see a 60 point win.
