Title: Halftime #s...
Post by: kso_FAN on March 17, 2011, 10:04:18 PM
   Pace   PPP   eFG%   TO%   OR%   FTR
KSU   29   1.15   39.3%   10.4%   35.3%   39.3%
USU   29   0.76   47.7%   27.8%   25.0%   22.7%

Grinder pace. Good offense overall for K-State (1.15 PPP is above average), but could be even better if we hit open perimeter shots. Have to stay at least even on boards, keep forcing TOs, draw fouls.

KSU is a whole lot better than Utah State.  This would easily be a 20+ margin if we had made shots.  USU doesn't have much of a chance unless they make every single shot in the second half.

I just worry about letting them stay around. We need to put them away early and take away hope.

Do not want to go back to zone.  That's how you let undermanned teams back into games.
