Really hope he does one of those deals where he invites his twitter followers to lunch and then pays for it.

KMBC News (Kansas City) anchor guy was talking about the Ochocinco story, and kept pronouncing his name Ocho-"Kinko".

Larry Moore, distinguished royal officer of Oldballzistaningrad.  I think he said OchoKinko 3 times.  Loved it.

not unless he changes it to OchoKinko and gets FedExKinko's on board.  Think of the cross-promotional bonanza!

Depends, how much are we talking here?

They haven't announced single game tix yet, but if you wanted to get season tix, you could get front section, center filed on the west side(no afternoon sun) for $25 a game.  If you move to the 1/4 field points, something like $16 a seat.

Gotta think that single seasons will be close to that.

East side seems to be the higher end side.  They have season tix that start between $35 and $65 there.  Must be a club type of ticket?

fwiw i really want him on the squad, and if he does make it, ronaldo and kaka said they would be at a match in KC

so that would be pretty much worth a roster spot alone

Several tweets today saying that he still doesn't look good, but he is getting good in-scrimmage results.  Basically saying that it's ugly, but working out.

Interviews last night he was asked if he was doing this for money.  He said he is set until he is 85 and doesn't care about money at all, that he is only doing this to see what he can do in, what was apparently, his fav sport before football.

Interviewer asked if he would do this for free.  He basically said that he would if they would have him.

If they don't sign him, they're making a huge mistake imo.  Watching the video on him shows me that he's nowhere near ready to really play, but signing him to any deal would be well worth the roster spot in publicity.  Problem is, we don't start playing home games until the middle of the season so if he isn't going to be around for the whole year they wouldn't get to capitalize on him that much.

I'm actually a pretty big Wizards/Sporting fan and go to a few games a year so between the new stadium, Livestrong sponsorship, and now this, I'm pretty damn excited. Not to mention they won their first game at Chivas which is a great sign.

LMSLIQ here but what's the deal with the team name?  Is this a different team than the Wizards or did the just change names?
