I think this might mean good things for us. The committee is obviously placing a heavy emphasis on how you finished the season.

that or a heavy emphasis on the Big East and Big 10

According to jrmtiger on tigerboard, 8/9 seeds aren't as good as 10's and 11's because the committee rewards the 1 seeds by giving them a lesser seed in the second round.
