Mass Street is better than AggieVille for jewelry stores, ice cream parlors, nic nack vendors, children's book/toy stores, and family dinning options. In contrast, Aggieville is far, far superior for college entertainment. Really are two completely separate things. The goal of Mass Street, set by the City of Lawrence, is to function as a retail center in lieu of a mall. The goal of AggieVille is to be a congregation point for a university. I would much rater take kids and old people to Mass Street than Aggieville.
