... should have been Big XII P.O.Y. Period.

IDK, he takes a lot of shots to get those points.
-
He's very good
-
He's good, but.... http://statsheet.com/mcb/players/compare?add=alec-burks&p1=jacob-pullen
-

True... but he rebounds and distributes well too. And as we know all too well... he's a solid on-ball defender.

He's awesome, wish Frank had found him first, but glad he didn't end up in Lawrence because then Massa would have ruined him.

Carried the Buffs over the Fighting Havs

Apparently I'm close.

imagine if Massa had him. he'd be averaging 9 minutes and 3.5 points a game.

Colorado getting on Burks earlier than anyone else is a myth, I guess it's a feel good story about Bzdelik's superior eye for spotting talent where others don't see it, but all the evidence available from that timeframe disproves it.
From Scout, April 2008(How bout that Jeff Reid pic):
Alec Burks SG, Spiece Mo-Kan Elite – Much like Ratliffe was for Boo Williams, Burks was the go-to offensively, especially late in the game. The 6-foot-4 guard played at a high level on Sunday and showed off a deep, pure stroke from three, as he hit jumpers off the catch, dribble and curl. Up to this point he’s only received mid-level interest but that could change if he continues to play like he did against Boo Williams.

From GPC, June 2008:
While Burks is still waiting for his first scholarship offer, several schools in addition to K-State have show interest in the Mo-Kan Spiece guard.
"I've been hearing from Wichita State, Santa Clara, Missouri State and Wisconsin-Green Bay. And K-State, now. Before this weekend, I really hadn't heard that much from them. There are some other schools that have called my coaches about me, too.

Yeah, no it wasn't. Your status of trying too hard to be basketball smart is confirmed.

Really starting to hate his dad.

I'm rough ridin' elated that Jake pulled his head out of his ass and started playing ball at high level again... That doesn't mean he's better at basketball than Alec Burks.
Talk about trying too hard. Your schtick is tired MIR... You seem tired. It is pretty late... maybe it's time for a nap. Don't you think?

before the conference started Rodney was, from an offensive rating standpoint, our best player.
-
His interview last night before the TT / MU game was an amazing work of statesmanship. Dude needs to run for public office.
-
He's also very handsome.
-
eff you Burks...eff you :chainsaw:

Seriously, can we get someone to go Nancy Kerrigan him when he's coming out of the locker room for the 2nd half?
-
I doubt there's much mystery about what Frank is talking about at half time: Please keep Burks from scoring an average of 1.1 PPM like he did the first half.
-
Burks is on us like crap on a horesblanket

there's no way the staff isn't 20x more pissed about letting roberson do whatever the eff he wanted than they were about burks making guarded shots.
