I seriously want to adopt that dude.  I love the crap out of CK, and hate the crap out a CK-hating family.

Heck, even Ivan Sulic had family come to his SR night... then he didn't even play.

Was sad to see no family for CK.

parental involvement is one of, if not the biggest, indicator of student performance.  Clears up a lot of the reason for his issues.  Good to see he got his degree. I really want to see him go somewhere and be successful.

Agreed. That's so effing sad/ridiculous. I hope he finds some great success in whatever he chooses and never has to back to those types of people again.

Some people should have pitched in their miles and awards in order to get them here.

It's not like this happened all of a sudden. They could have gotten their crap together and got here if they wanted to be here.

That's a last minute price too. If you can't get 500 bucks together to see a relative end his college career and not leave him stranded without a relative to walk him out... gtfo.

There is a member of this board who has had CK stay in his home (not me) and eat buffalo wings.  He should adopt CK.

CK gave them bad directions.  Scribbled on rolling papers.  While he was totally baked.  And he misspelled "Manhattan" as "Storrs."   :ck:

Somone who has had family members miss pivotal points in another family member's life. There's no excuse for someone's whole family to ditch out on someone. If there were some tragedy to have befallen his family precluding them from making it here, we would have heard about it.

And who is my Batman?

I don't know. All I heard was that he had family members that were going to walk with him, and he found out this morning that they weren't going to make it.

Love you Curt

Pretty shitty indeed, I'm sure CK is used to it at this point in his life as I'm sure this isn't the first time his fam has taken a huge crap on him. Hopefully we see what really happened on a Behind the Lines segment in the future. Keep your chin up CK, goEMAWnation loves you.

Too bad Maury was on the same time as your ceremony. Your dad was prolly thinking 'I wish I'd have gotten one of them paternity tests too" at the exact moment you were handed a diploma.
