Title: Paging Dr. Spaceman--Need medical advice

I think I may be coming down with a cold.   :surprised:  What is the best cold remedy?


Follow-up question: if my cold persists or even gets worse, would you still consider meeting up and getting pak'd with SkinBen and then going to watch the ksu cats in the Big 12 tourney if we make it past our first game?

5 shots of Whiskey, the cheaper the better.  You must take them all within 10 minutes.  Problem solved, this also works for most bacterial infections.

Ok, let's just assume you do have the garden variety common cold then.  It should run it's course within 2 weeks regardless of what you do.  Treatment is basically just for alleviating whatever symptoms you are having.  If you are having nasal congestion, take a decongestant (pseudoephedrine for example).  If you have a cough, take a cough suppressant (dextromethorphan or guaifenesin).  If you have aches/sore throat or mild fever, take some tylenol.  Pretty simple.  Just make sure you try to rest up and stay hydrated as well.  :party:
