I think i'm going to offer anyone sitting near frank a free pair of ear plugs.
-
I am going to make a hilarious joke about Frank yelling. Or maybe ask him if he ever got stared at by Frank? Will have the whole chat rolling.
-
I'm gonna ask him how much he admires Pat Bosco.
-
Predicting this doesn't go well.
-
I'm going to ask him if he'll fire LHC Bill Snyder for me.
-
I'm going to ask him if he'll fire LHC Bill Snyder for me.
Try to big time him if he gives you any resistance.
Tell him that you belong to a group that has, literally, tens of dollars that are ready to be spent on pursuing this goal.
-
Someone ask him what he thought of meeting Haverhill at the Iowa State vs Kansas State Volleyball game in Ames. I'll be in class :bawl:

I'd consider making a trip to Bramlage if you had walking tacos. Bramlage is still the only arena in the Big 12 North I havn't been to... unfortunately won't make it this weekend either.

I am thinking of a backhanded compliment to Sean like "After literally no experience or success at coaching, for Sean Snyder to be elevated to an on the field coaching position he must really be a chip off the old block!"

Anyone notice that the k-staesports website still has the baseball player who is out for the season with an exploded elbow on its first page?

yeah, pretty sure we're all going to have to do that to get our questions addressed.
"Hey John, love your work so far at KSU! What, in your opinion, needs to happen to fix the ascending age of legendary head coach LHC Bill Snyder?"

Dear ADJC, thanks for the wonderful basketball practice facility and how about Deb and the lady cats, 800 wins!? Anyway, I was wondering what undesirable qualities you saw in Jim Leavitt that you wouldn't force our 100 year old coach to replace the worst D-coordinator in America with him. Thanks!

JC: Great question, Leland! Right now our engineering and biology deparments are working on a joint project in the field of cryogenics to help us with this issue.

Someone please say something about the WABASH on the back of the uniforms and how it makes us look like complete rough ridin' retards while EMAW would have made us look like absolute studs/studettes. tia

I would...if I wanted to hear a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) story about the band nerds whose building got burned by some hippies and how the head band nerd kept a nerd song in his poindexter briefcase....

Good afternoon John, nice to see you doing this again. It's much appreciated. Did I read correctly somewhere that the East Side upper deck Restroom additions, were indeed part of the construction bid for the new basketball practice facility, or am I putting words into the AD mouth?
Thursday March 3, 2011 2:07 GT - Tonganoxie
2:06 You are correct. We'll have an official announcement with full details in a few weeks but the upper deck east side restroom project came in under bid also and will commence soon.
Thursday March 3, 2011 2:06
2:05 Willie- thanks for your question- The upper deck east restrooms should be done by the beginning of the 2011 season- there may be a some temporary impact on East lot parking during the BTF construction, but we'll be able to share all those details later this spring. Overall the facility will not have any significant permanent negative impact on parking.
Thursday March 3, 2011 2:05
2:03 [Comment From Willie Willie: ]
When construction begins on the new BTF and the east side restrooms, will there be any parking or tailgating restrictions for the football season?

2:02 With two great basketball traditions like K-State has it would be hard to single out any one great player for such an honor but there is no denying the impact Denis Clemente had at K-State- I feel lucky I was able to watch him for his senior year!

2:00 [Comment From OK_Cat OK_Cat: ]
John, love your work so far, Go Cats. There has been a big movement lately to name next year's new basketball court after famous Cat/PRican Denis Clemente. Thoughts? Go wild wild cats!

2:00 Matthew,
Conference rules prevent us from making public comments about officiating. When schools have concerns there is an appropriate private process within conference guidelines.

Congratulations to Deb Patterson and the women's basketball team for their win last night over #5 Texas A&M and to Coach Martin for the win at #7 Texas Monday night. Been a pretty good week thus far!

video concourse!
Michael- we are in the process of replacing the turf on Dave Wagner Field in LHC Bill Snyder Family Stadium- I think that's whats inspiring the chatter... At some point in the future we'll need to resurface the bramlage floor and do some other improvements (video, concourses, etc) but right now our top basketball priority is the training facility itself. Although we are close to fully funding the BTF , we still need to raise about $3 million to complete it.
Go Cats!

Should be more concerned with the crap on the field than the West Side Bill, imo.
Currie prob is, which is prob why he ignored the question.

Still going on? If so, ask if he's interested in using the octowood design, or if he's even seen it. It's an absolute must imo.

He's avoiding all the questions I'm asking. shazbot! him. Answer a tough question Curry!

I know there will be lots going on all over town ad in the Power and Light district. It is awesome to have both our tournaments in Kansas City at the same time. I was doing a crossword puzzle to keep from getting too nervous!
Actually, i just keep a few notes on game score at different times of the game so i can look back and try to see pivotal moments, plays, or shots or where runs start, etc. Nothing too scientific.

Great job by our students and crowd for establishing yet another K-State tradition that grabs national attention. "John, great work so far, love what you've done with the place. My question is about our Marketing Department. Why do they insist on making us look like white trash at every possible opportunity? When it's not a power towel video or Harley Day, they're releasing god-awful K-STATEO posters. What gives and have you fired anyone yet? Thanks, I'll hang up and listen off air. Be proud, wear purple, go q@s."

Hey John, great job so far. Did you read Jeremy Parker's Letter to the Editor in the Collegian a few weeks ago about sweeping minor problems under the rug? What are your thoughts on that point of view?
I believe that the overwhelming majority of K-Stater's want us to win with class and integrity. And, with the advantages we have at K-State and in the Big 12 we absolutely can compete at a championship level while achieving our vision of a model intercollegiate athletics program. We have the highest graduation rate int he Big 12 and in case anyone missed the last several days, we seem to be able to get it done in the games and competitions too.
Wonder who changed his name and submitted that after all his previous questions were not answered?

For my own dorkie self, would love to know if the athletic department put out a formal bid on the new turf, he said they've received multiple proposals. For those that don't follow FieldTurf and its competitors have been in some knock down drag out court battles over bids and patent infringement. Just brutal stuff.

I doubt they put a formal bid. I haven't heard anything. They probably just sent out price requests to a couple companies asking for a good deal.

Is it not public money? If it is, legally they would have to put it to public bid.
