So Gooch is on assignment in Chihuaha, Mexico or something.  Got this e-mail from him yesterday:

Hotel is ok kind of like a condo type complex not a highrise type bldg. Saw one hell of a gun fight on our way home today. Literally 300 feet in front of us on the road. I could see the muzzle flash from the barels as they fired. It was rough ridin' fantasric. A jeep had jun a federally truck off the road and about 4 dudes were just spraying it with machine gun fire. The good guys were pinned behind the vehicle dressed in full black tactical gear and like ninja masks on returning fire. Our driver stopped as this was happening and i'm yelling at the rough rider to "go! go! go!". After about 25 seconds a truck is coming up behind us so i told the driver to get in the left lane and use it as a sheild so we could get past the gun fight. rough ridin' brilliant on my part i must say. I should be like some sort of secret agent or some crap. Two more days to go. :crossfingers:

May have an extra ticket for ISU.

Got this crap done a day early and getting out tommorrow afternoon. If it is not on the beach in this whole god damn country they should just rough ridin' bulldoze it down. Bye bye shithole Mexico hello Cancun of the midwest (Wichita).
