Title: Thanks for the memories, Brady
Post by: Scary Smart on March 02, 2011, 02:24:51 PM
Career plans for the 25-year old DUI recipient:

Quote
Morningstar — he received his degree in communication studies last May — plans on playing pro ball somewhere next season.

“I think keeping on playing would be the most fun now,” Morningstar said, acknowledging he’s not sure what career path outside of hoops he’d pursue.

“I see Charles Barkley and those guys on TV, I would love to do something like that,” Morningstar added of getting into broadcasting. “I feel to be on such a high level, TNT or something, you have to be an NBA veteran or all-star so people recognize you. I think that would be the most fun, you sit around a studio and talk about basketball. I’d like to stay around the game, maybe get into coaching later in my life, something like that.

“I’ve got no clue what’s coming up. A lot of those decisions are made after the season is over. There’s a lot of season left. We want to make it last as long as we possibly can.”

He even has his own Free State High School fan club:

Quote
“He’s definitely known around here,” FSHS senior Alec Heline said. “But it’s not like he’s a hero or something. I still look up to him. He’s a fun player to watch and it’s kind of crazy that he went here.”

Greg Gurley and Brady will have to hold some sort of death match challenge to see who gets to freeload off of their regional fame in the near future.

I think that we should use this thread to post all of the great memories that we have of Brady over his 7-year college career. I will always remember the time that Brady said all of those racist comments to Denis Clemente when K-State played KU in the OOD in 08-09 and then proceeded to punch Denis in the stomach, all the while convincing the KU fanbase that Denis was the thug. Good times.

I think by "playing pro ball" he means get paid to play.  Which I can see happening when his dad gives him an allowance to get wasted constantly and play in the park against 16 year olds.

Heard Brady was out partying last night to celebrate his final home game as a hawk and the transition straight into receiving social security payments

brady needs to just fall in line.  His lot is one of "working" for daddy in setting up the impermissible benefits for the future players/recruits.   He has no future in sitting next to Charles Barkley.  It takes more than a year on a European BB bench for TNT to hire you as an analyst.

This guy is Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!).

He could get on at the P66 halftime show with some guest analysis...they'd have to have a breathalyzer.

Whether you're an NBA prospect or the son of a rich booster, Bill Self is going to do his best to make sure you're not prepared for the next step in life after leaving KU.  This is just sickening.

If there's one Big 12 basketball player I could beat up, it's this kid.  Probably still lose though.  But still.

I've never seen a fanbase make such a big deal out of a kid getting a DUI before.  I guess when that's all you've got, you take it and run with it.

As long as he uses the interlock device, I have no problem with him.  Live and learn, I say.

Well there's the whole his father is a fraudster thing and also his sister's a whore, but yeah mostly just the DUI thing--especially when you pull the ole "do you know who my Dad is?" thing.  I will say his mother is a nice in every way and I can't believe how she got mixed up with that dirtbag hubby and spawned those two kids.

I once saw this drunk ass bum mouth the word "pussy" at his hecklers for 10 straight minutes. It was weird than the time that Stucky guy who is rough ridin' Tyler Reed's sister licked his lips at us.

Will you consider the other points made by others?  There were more.  If you're just going to ignore them then that's fine, too.  But don't pretend others are.

DUI's aren't a big deal afterall.

It's not like drunk drivers kill people or anything... :dubious:
