Title: Big 12 Freshman of the Year
Post by: pissclams on March 02, 2011, 01:10:22 PM
I voted for Doc Spradling.  Would be great to sweep the post season awards.  GO K_S_U, wildcats, roll them and roll.  KS- KS- KS - go!

I think Shelby deserves it. Without him, KU loses to USC at home and they are not the #1 team.

Went with Tristan "and Isolde" Thompson, solely due to the fact that he tried to singlehandedly break K-State's death grip on the CTR.

I voted for Perry Jones. I'm hoping after we land Perry Ellis, and he has a solid FR season, the subliminal effects of already voting for a kid named Perry will have an effect on the voters.

Gotta go with Enrique Robert's arch nemesis, Ben "Godzilla" Mills.

Don't let the #'s fool ya, Mills is Enrique's kryptonite.

gotta go spradling. he'd avg well over 10ppg on any other conf team. that's what you get when you play for frank though. he makes you earn it. that and he's playing behind 1st team all big12 ftb and most improved big12 player rodney mcgruder. congrats to will.

Reed was buried on the bench as a freshman.  That team had like seven NBA players and a sh*tload of talent.  They also won the national title.

Spradling has the luxury of playing on a team with no depth.

What's wrong with having one nut?  Seemed to work pretty well for Lance Armstrong.

Who said that there's anything wrong with that? I was giving him condolences. Must be tough. I bet when he's in bed it's like when you shoot off one of those m-18's on the 4th of July, except it doesn't explode after it's been launched into the air.

Looking good for the q@s to sweep the goEMAWy's POY, FOY, COY, and conference championship, although doc is making a late push for the COY award.

Seems pretty obvious Tristan Thompson will win the FOY. Any chance this dude declares after this season? As a pure post, he seems to have more potential than Marcus Thugs at KU. Of course, he can't step out and drain a three or make a free throw, but gaddamn he's explosive and his offensive rebounding numbers are ridiculous. Lot's of upside for some NBA squad.
