mizzou on offense

nu player forces turnover, dribbles awkwardly in the general direction of the other basket

mizzou player swipes the ball, zips the other way and promptly falls down

I am perplexed.

Really.

Any ideas?

Are they cheating somehow?

Officials let those hacks foul the crap out of people at home.
I'd better their opponent's score 7-10 pts below their avg in Paige, due solely to the hanchecking trash those hacks get away with. It certainly isn't the crowd noise.

I'm leaning more towards some type of cheating.  How can they be that mentally weak?

A one year fluke I could understand, but this is Mike Anderson's trademark.

40 min of hell was tossed to the way side a few years ago.  Mike kept trying to establish it and couldn't.  Can't get the kids that can do that at this level consistently.  Mike adjusted a few years ago and has settled on playing high energy, but not what he was known for.   Mike needs to either get the kids needed for is original system, or scrap it and get kids that can actually play.

Qft. '40 mins' no longer exists. A fine idea but tough to execute, particularly on the road. Still makes an appearance now and then when they play at home.
