their size and length will bother us.  Curt and samuels will have to play really well and not get in foul trouble.  Gruds and Sprads will HAVE to knock down their looks.   Jake gets bottled up offensively.

62-74.

i predict those ten gallon hat wearing losers take this rivalry way to seriously, show up, act loud, play out of their ass and actually pull the upset and beat us.

The only game we've lost in the last 7 was by 0.01 seconds to CU. We continue to win:

Combined score around 120.  Whoever decides to rebound the best will win.  I think we matchup well against UT, their front line isn't as good as it gets credit for.

The backcourt is where this game will be decided (I realize this seems to go counter with the rebounding comment, but it doesn't when you consider how rebounds are created).  Defend J's and clean up the glass, whoever does this the best wins.

It seems like every Texas game I've seen for about the past month, they dominate early, get at least a 10 pt lead in the 1st half, sorta let their guard down, and their opponent slowly creeps back in the game. Obviously that "letting their guard down" came back to bite them in the rear on Saturday.

It'll be interesting to see how UT responds if someone hangs with them early, they probably won't panic but maybe become increasingly frustrated throughout the game if they can't create any separation?

Our interior D and rebounding has been pretty solid since the 1st ku game, I think that trend needs to continue in order for us to hang in there tonight. Really hope Curt, Jamar, and JO can stay out of foul trouble.

If Irvs, Russell, and Sprads can play like they did on Saturday, then we're in business, but it will be really tough to duplicate those performances on the road against a Top 5 team.

I can't predict a victory for the KSU Cats but if we can keep it within 5-6 pts late into the game, we might have enough toughness to come away with a victory.

It's on the road.   So, we go from looking like a team that kind of halfway looks like it knows what it's doing . . . to the stupidest team in all of college basketball.

So, with that in mind.

Shane Southwell . . . zero points . . . again.

Plural for Denis, I guess?  DEN-nies?

Why couldn't his mom just have spelled it normally?  Would've saved everyone a lot of trouble.  Let this be a lesson, future parents.   :frown:

whorns 60

Going with the gut this time guys - going with the gut. Feeling that the whorns are demoralized (see last year's fall off) and they are in the middle of a nasty spiral which will continue with a crappy showing at the B12T and will be disgraced in a 1st round dismissal in the tourney.
