Title: Anyone read about that crazy bama fan
Post by: Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) on February 17, 2011, 11:07:45 PM
Got pissed because a "scam" newton jersey was placed on a Bear Bryant statue after the game this year.  Drove to Auburn and put a bunch of poison around some sacred trees in Auburn.  Called into a radio show and bragged about it, says he doesn't care about "the law".  Says those trees are gonna die.

Pretty effin' funny.

what a shitty thing to do.

rivalries are a great thing to have, but killing a tradition is pretty cheap and low, imo.

That would be like the Hawkers taking down the I-70 KU EMAW sign!  It would kill an amazing tradition of painting on it.  :dunno:

signs can be replaced, 6 colums can be mended.  130 year old oaks are irreplaceable. Bad move by that redneck.

Poisoning 130 yr old trees is as twisted an example of premeditated, misguided CFB fanaticism as I've seen. Toomers corner must live on.

How being a married ESPN Gameday Host that goes around the country screwing any college coed that will talk to you???  <-- awesome yet shameful

really weird that people defend this/think it's funny.

if ku had some jayhawk in a cage (assuming it existed) it would be unfunny/stupid for some emaw to poison it.  paint can be removed or painted over, but killing 130 year old trees is moronic at best.
