You zoom in and it is obviously a pic overlaid on the google image.  you can see shadows and stuff around the edges of the Sanders.
some one hiding something.  Someone with the pull it would take to make google tamper their image.

What I don't get is why they wouldn't have just taken a pic of a mountain, or other desert, etc.  Why draw attention to it by superimposing Sanders on there?  Maybe Google has a sense of humor and sells these as ads?

In 2006 KFC created a giant company logo on the ground at the north edge of Rachel and claimed it to be the first logo visible from space. "[It] marked the official debut of a massive global re-image campaign that will contemporize 14,000-plus KFC restaurants in over 80 countries over the next few years."[1] Constructed in early November, it took six days on site to assemble its 65,000 colored tiles on 87,500 square feet (8,130 m2) of flat desert terrain. The logo also had a hidden message  on the tie area of the logo that featured an impostor colonel holding a sign over his head, reading "Finger Lickin' Good". Although the logo was removed in mid-2007, it is still visible on Google Earth.

KFC's been doing a lot of stuff like this.  The one I remember is the offer to fill potholes for cities if some of them got a KFC logo on them.  topeka wanted in on this (surprise surprise).

Not as good as when Taco Bell set up a floating taco bell logo/target in the ocean and said if the core of the MIR space station hit it everyone would get free tacos.

zoom in.  There is something under it, and it looks to be more than simply a structure to hold up a picture.

Normally not a conspiracy guy.

Limited research through Google Earth confirms that any pak to Rachel, NV would suck ass.
