I don't know for sure, Capel has been a man guy.
And I don't want to jinx us, but OU is a bad basketball team. No idea how they beat Colorado and Baylor.

i haven't seen as much of ou this year as i normally do, but they've got guys that can score. pledger, fitzgerald, davis.
even so, kstate should be able to get 20% plus turnovers and limit their oboards to almost nothing. as long as they guard the perimeter and shoot decent (40%+) it should be a win.

Yeah, Davis made a spectacular step back 3... only his foot was on the line. A couple years ago they are tipping OT right now.

Unless KSU has a hangover from kicking Kansas' ass I don't see OU keeping it close. Really afraid this team is going into the same funk they were last year.
Thanks, made my piece with it when I saw the 2 go up on the scoreboard, rough ridin' Cade Davis love the heart he has given to the team but at times I cant wait till he graduates.

they've played pretty well. better than their talent/experience if you ask me. if osby lives up to his billing and goff provides something, ou could be pretty decent next year.
btw, martin was talking on local radio today and mentioned he speaks with capel frequently.

They compete and likeable, which is more to say about last years bunch. Hell that 4 game run was a slice of heaven. But damn they're over matched so often.
I'm still not sold on Capel as the answer as a coach, he needs players as he can't coach them up too much. And recruiting is going to be a bitch with back to back losing seasons. rough ridin' sucks as Texas is loaded in 2012 and I don't think we will be able to capitalize on it, need Capel to get his head out Perry "Jayhawk" Ellis and Nino "Jayhawk" Jackson's asses and recruit some kids we actually have a chance with.

jackson's ku offer may disappear if he keeps waiting. i think capel is right to stay in position to scoop him up if things break that way.

I don't think Nino will be waiting too long, plus I think he will fit in with the KU "style" of players with his attitude.

The team is infamous for its futility, winning its sole National Championship in 1931 (according to the Helms Athletic Foundation) and its last Big Ten Conference title in 1933. The team has consistently finished in the bottom half of the Big Ten, with only two finishes above fourth place since World War II and none since 1968. It has never appeared in an NCAA tournament (despite hosting the first NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship game in 1939 and the 1956 NCAA Men's Final Four[2]). It has appeared in the National Invitation Tournament 5 times (1983, 1994, 1999, 2009, 2010).
At least South Florida can say they didn't start playing basketball until 1971.
