Post by: EllToPay on February 16, 2011, 03:57:35 PM
Guys, Mrs. ETP and I are going to San Fran at the end of May. Pretty excited to see the city. I'd like to take a day or two to go up to Napa.

Any recommendos for a hotel in Napa? tia.

MODS?1

In the mean time, they say to always go to Fisherman's Wharf so make sure you take your fishing gear.

Why are you going to SF?  You should just go hang out in Portland.  Better food.

there are lots of hills in that city, so make sure to do P90X first because walking around is tiring, or rent a car (warning traffic is bad and so is parking)

I stayed in a hotel there, it was nice, but really loud outside, I had a hard time sleeping, they had complimentary sleeping masks with the ice bucket, but only sissies wear those.

I'd recommend going to wine country in Napa valley while you're in "the bay area".  Much more quiet and easier to sleep (wine works better than sleeping masks), although they have the same problem with hills and what not.  Check into renting a car.
