Title: Free throws: K-State 29 Attempts. ku 29 attempts . . .
Post by: sonofdaxjones on February 15, 2011, 12:59:56 AM
fouls:  K-State 19 ku 22.

Yeah, nothing screams the "Fix is in" like the exact same amount of Free Throws and a foul differential of . . . THREE.

Yeah, the team that had a technical and flagrant foul should probably worry about controlling their thugs.

The ref had no business calling a technical on that. Whatever happened to warnings? They punch, grab, and claw at us under the basket all night, but yelling to try to get your team mentally back in it gets the whistle? Lame.

not making this up btw.

Nothing says irony like the fans of the living moving screen/hip check screen, the living hand check, the living reach in foul, and the living "shove the rebounder under the basket" gang whining about a point of emphasis blatent situation.

On several occasions Henriquez was getting in our guys’ faces after making shots. While it was not the reason we lost, the refs were BIG into the home cookin’ last night. They clearly wanted to be a factor from tip off.

just keep getting better.

My favorite is the whining about Pullen drawing fouls by leaning into a defender that left is feet.

I also saw someone say Pullen initiated the contact on the Morris thug's face/throat punch.

Good times.

Several posters said that. Cracked me up. "He ran into Marcus' forearm!"

I had a coworker tell me McG's "slap to Tyrel's face" was far more flagrant than McMorris' eblow.
