Dear Frank/John,
Just revoke his scholly after the season. Worked for me! LOL
Sincerely,
LHC Bill Snyder
-
THIS.
Let's do this the Snyder way. :emawkid:
-
One thing Snyder will do is look the other way to win. Always has and always will. I love the old guy for that.
-
I still hate him. :chainsaw:
-
I still hate him. :chainsaw:
well, he has kind of painted himself in the corner right now by not having very many players on the team that it would matter if he looked the other way or not for.

Yep. Respect the crap out of him for this.

As if I didn't see that coming before I hit "Post."
But seriously, what makes you think that this is the one redeeming quality that Snyder 2.0 retained from the original version?

How many players on the football team were suspended a single game for something like this last season?

yeah, as long as it didn't make the paper RE: clayton running over a parking attendent.
-
This is why the Currie's whole "transparency" thing was so incredibly stupid and short sighted. For example, did Cheyenne go on and on about transparency? No, he mentioned integrity and then moved on. He didn't harp on it. I mean, KU had a worse scandal - people went to freaking jail. Yet our hayseed AD and UP start getting righteous and they've effectively painted themselves in a corner.
Currie almost has no other choice but to deny CK's appeal (actually, if he was smart - which he isn't- he'd handle this internally...any questions about transparency would be answered with "Transparency is important and critical however I can't violate a student's right to privacy"). What's worse is that our shirt tuck fan base eats all of this self-righteousness up. And then at the same time wonders why we can't hang banners. Do you think Bob Krause would have handled this in the same manner?
-
Bob Krause would help Curtis Kelly bury a body if it meant one more win
-
Somebody immediately get Currie a WWBKD bracelet.

We don't have any players on our football team that do "something like this." That's why we rough ridin' suck.
Also, pretty sure Bob Krause would help anyone bury a body for any reason. Just seems like the type of guy that would enjoy something like that. :dunno:
-

Jesus, if we could genetically engineer an AD with Bob's scruples and Currie's fund raising, and Tim Weiser's dead eye with a pheasant load, we'd have the ultimate KSU AD.
-
Target gift card to Currie if he doesn't reject CK's appeal?

Clear conflict of interest so I vote yes

And we'll keep watching on the sidelines as that school over to the east continues to hang banners. But at least we can sleep at night because we do things "the right way."

is STUPID!! The athletics department has RULES!! One of which evidently is that college athletes smoking pot is not allowed. CK KNEW the rules...broke them TWICE!! If he did it again and the universities policy is to send him packing, then he needs to go, period. If he isn't responsible enough or doesn't have enough self restraint to avoid smoking weed for a couple of months when he knows the next positive test sends him packing, then I don't want him on the team anyway.

Honest question. Did the tucks love Woolyball, or really just all of the coaches in the 20-year dark period? Because that's exactly where they're trying to take us.
-
why do most of our fans care about the wrong things? my working hypo is that it's the only thing they can hang their heads on. ie- "yeah, we aren't very good but we do things the right way.". it seems like they are so scared to lose their only talking point that they would rather keep it then risk it for a chance at being good. it's just so depressing. kelly has to go? i mean wtf? somebody go play those hicks that garth brooks missed the dance song or whatever. i hate them. it's a worthless, pathetic defense mechanism that they've designed to protect themselves and it just has to stop.

it's all snyder. I'm not kidding. They believe that he is clean and built the program up clean, therefore all programs should be built like this. Frank Murphy being suspended only validates this opinion, when in fact what bill was trying to do is stop the bleeding immediately with a talented player but unneeded player for a short period of time (see darnell jackson). meanwhile Jarrod Cooper is doing guys/girls while high on cocaine that he got from mike stoops. meanwhile bill is addressing the team and saying "while you're hear, football is number 2 (as he holds up one finger) and academics is number 1 (as he holds up two fingers)" - not kidding, great story. It's all bill and their perception of how we got to where we were in football.

Unfortunately, this is the money crowd and the crowd that will get Currie's ear on this one. They are the establishment. Hell, if it goes down they'll probably give Currie a standing ovation on Big Monday.

We should cancel the playing of the game and just have certain EMAW characters come out to mid-court to be cheered/booed by the audience. One at a time, Currie, BK, OB, Weef, Frank, CK, etc. Just cause an absolute civil war in the stands.

There has been a lot of discussion here about the Kelly situation, and the high percentage of our athletes using pot. Many say that it is not feasible for KSU to fare well in major college sports unless we turn a blind eye to the problem.
I am hoping that some folks in this forum can address the BYU Code pertaining to all students, including athletes. I am curious whether they really hold athletes to these high standards. I think BYU is successful enough in sports nationally to have a lot of fans, and respect. I am looking for your feelings here -- do they really follow their own lofty
standards?

Yes, because having our authority figures act like Mormons will do wonders for recruiting.

You know you won me over. I know that my 8 and 5 year olds are going to drink, play with matches, have sex, etc., so I am going to provide them with the all of those things right now. See ya, I got to go to the store and then call 911 to get the fire department so my house doesn't burn down and I going to call Planned Parenthood to set up a future appointment for my 5 year old daughter, because one day she's going to have sex as a teenager and I can't stop that can I.

has rules which say it is ILLEGAL to smoke pot and it is illegal to take things that don't belong to you. This guy needs to be kicked off of the team immediately and SHOULD HAVE BEEN KICKED OFF TWO MONTHS AGO! If he had, we'd probably still be working with Judge or Asprilla which may not be saying much, but I'd take either at this point in time. Anyone who tries to justify it by saying other schools athletes do it is not thinking straight. Doesn't matter. What's wrong is wrong period. In addition, 80% of athletes ARE NOT smoking dope. My guess is that you say that if YOU smoke dope and want to justify it.....

So we just appoint all persons as judges and law enforcement officer and THEY get to decide which laws they obey? That thought process is exactly why China IS kicking our butt!

is there any question that if christianity never existed, KSU would be really, really good at athletics?
-
also, those same mouthbreathers must have forgot how we got chuckie williams, mike evans, ro, mitch richmond to come to our school. It wasn't our morals that lured them here.
