Wabash doesn't even make sense.  Nobody says Wabash or uses it in convo.  Michigancat has never texted me "I'm feeling really Wabashy right now" but he has texted me "I'm feeling very EMAWy right now".  It's clear why he didn't use EMAW.  It is from the old Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) Every Man A Wildcat which people are hating on for being sexist.  The fact is, it's no longer even an acronym.  It's EMAW on it's own face.

Yep, too bad really. I'm sure the designs were done, then someone put up the red flag on EMAW and suggested Wabash on the rest is history.

Well, eff them is basically what I'm saying.  Why is someone who has no idea what EMAW means in a position to make these decisions?

It's, like, "Hey you, person who has no idea what the history of K-State sports is and what stuff that people say around here means and junk...do you want a job to make decisions about those things you don't understand?  Yes?  OK, you're hired.  HUR HUR HUR DURP!"

If you have an issue with this, you really do need to email Mr Currie. If you think he may not understand K-State history and tradition, and specifically this phrase's importance and value to the fans, then let him know (rationally of course).

You have to think the EPAW people are vocal about their opinion, no reason why you can't be about yours.

went to Sports Nuts at the legends last week to find a new hat.  It reminded me of something that I have thought for some time now, which is that whoever designs our hats and most other apparel, needs to be fired.  the hats were plain awful.  horrible.  didnt buy one.  its never a choice of which cool hat to buy.  its always a choice of which hat is the least horrible.  makes it hard to sport team gear.

I feel like everyone is focusing their attention on the wrong person by E-mailing the Athletic Dept. The real culprit behind the EPAWification of K-State is, in fact, Noel Schulz (wife of Pres. Kirk Schulz). This comes to me via sources in the alumni office.

It's kind of surprising that she's a fun-hating feminist...she doesn't look like one at all...

Me too. When I first saw the Wabash on there I thought, no big deal. Just somebody with minimal knowledge of our university designing a jersey. It's an easy mistake to make, what with the Wabash cannonball and all. So they picked a non-descript word that's loosely associated with KSU and slapped it on there.

but to find out that somebody inside the university intentionally sabotaged what could have been an amazing feature of the jersey because of a personal vendetta...
