North or South?
-
South! Classier peeps, and Hilton Head is the bomb.com. Better barbeque, kevin garnett, vanna white, andy dick, further south (obviously), etc.

further south (obviously), etc.
:opcat:
-
man, use of a poll would have nailed this. I guess south. what is the tally? hard to tell with no poll.
-
North. I once stepped on a stingray in myrtle beach and I've hated SC ever since. It was so gross and slimy.

I touched some moss at the lake and thought it was fish guts and wouldn't go back in.

The low country in South Carolina is awesome. The Outer Banks in North Carolina is great, and Western North Carolina is > Western South Carolina.
And nothing called Carolina BBQ is really BBQ . . . in Eastern North Carolina the pepper and vinegar "BBQ" makes for a tasty sandwich, in South Carolina they prefer the Mustard "BBQ" and that's just flat nasty.

Everything in the Carolinas just suck. They flat out suck.

Kind of like Topeka.

Never been to either (usually stick to New York or Boston on the East Coast), but I've heard SC has some pretty nice beaches.
And their flag is pretty hott: (https://goemaw.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwwp.greenwichmeantime.com%2Ftime-zone%2Fusa%2Fsouth-carolina%2Fimages%2Fstate-flag-south-carolina.jpg&hash=405ae112bac90183ea2c8f8f25611bc822a8ea8a)

there is clearly only one man, alone, in this video. comebacks are only good if they are factual... or true... or make even a lick of sense.

Living in a directional state, what do you say to someone when they ask what part of the state do you live in?
I live in West North Carolina? I mean jfc hick.

For smart people (like me for example) it really isn't that difficult. I can understand how this might be a challange for people like you though. Sorry, it had to be said.

i vote north

South seems hick, but in a friendly innocent way. North seems more white trash.

South. Charleston

Probably gonna go over to Bdubs and watch the Duke and UNC game Wednesday night, 9 pm start will have both bandwagon fan bases all boozed up and ready to fight by halftime.
Good times.
-
Duke doesn't really have all that many bandwagons. UNC makes KU look like alumni-central. Increds how many 'necks latch onto that team.

Walmart fan at Duke 'pak in P and L was priceless though.

Duke does have a pretty strong contingent of bandwagoners, but you are correct, nothing close to UNC.
-
Are signs/billboards banned everywhere in NC? It makes the triangle seem like you're in the middle of nowhere. Which is good and bad.

MIR still owes me and all of goEMAW a relatively sober recap of that whole pak, but I recall one of the highlights was meeting the 3 Nebraskans who are anti-KSU hoops fans and remembered us from the NCAA tourney where they rooted for BYU. One of them had a custom-embroidered hat (can't remember which team the hat was originally for) on which he'd had anti-KSU message stitched in.

could be that one KSU hater from the mid 90s that was on kstatefans.com - I am pretty sure his handle was nubb and I want to say he had a "OP Cat" sock as well. That guy was an inspiration as he just hated and hated on such a crappy program like it was his job.
Some have said he is Husker Wirejay on the Husker hoops central board.

I have a pretty :surprised: story about Duke 'pak that I don't feel comfortable sharing on the internet. Maybe the next 'pak though.

No . . . but for whatever reason they aren't the best on signage, but some places have gotten a lot better since I moved here.

He wore a BYU hat that he had Screw KSU embroidered on. He was rocking a Duke shirt. And no he wasn't a sock in the 90's, he showed me his current Nebraska student id. The Duke pak recap will have to wait for a pak to he retold or a timely opportunity on the board. It has no context now, or I'm too lazy to type it up.

That would involve me leaving MHK. So that's kind of out of the question. Another MOAP during football season? :crossfingers:

Might have to go up there for work sometime this summer. :bracketmouse:
MIR, I can actually recall that night relatively well. My memory issues were from the Gonzaga night when I got lost and went to the upper deck instead of our seats and then got cut off from booze, along with everything that happened after the game.

Was very :shakesfist:. I tried to buy you a beer and the security guy wouldn't let me and then pulled you aside to talk to you.
