Title: Karma
Post by: Immaculate1 on February 06, 2011, 12:09:05 AM
Gottlieb attributes the win today on karma. The terrible fifth call on CK is the reason the ball bounced our way on the final call. He harped on the issue of officials making bad calls and ignoring the issue of verticality on CBB Final.

I don't watch this show enough. It seems that Gottlieb and Katz really don't like each other. Katz is a effing bitch. I hate him. Doug

I hold their differing articles on the UNC transfer as evidence.

two realizations after tonight's episode:

gottlieb is like, the biggest jew ever. like movie-stereotype jew.

also, he is addicted to an illegal drug of some kind. haven't determined which yet, but it was apparent tonight.

but yeah, totally love him too.

sdyoungestbro went to OSU.  He saw gottlieb the other day in Eskimo Joes wearing some elite pearl snap two pocket shirt.   He then found and purchased exact shirt the next day.  Love Doug.

FWIW, I didn't think the 5th foul on Kelly was a bad call.

As for Katz, I'm not even sure his own wife likes him.

If you rearrange the letters in karma, you get kamra.
Looks like that 5th call was a snapshot of the future.

I think we need to focus on separating ourselves from the other "disappointing" teams this year to further our chances of making the dance.

After some time occasionally being around a crowd in CO that did a lot of coke/speed type junk, I could actually see this. Me and a bunch of buddies all agreed on it the other night watching him. Might just be a eff load of espresso shots and lack of sleep, though.

Bro, the media has caught a hold of our suck too hard this season.  We would have to win out to change "the story".  Even then, it would still be a story about disappointment in us not getting our crap together until we started winning out.  The part of the game that is played in the media has already been lost by us this year.

I agree, I think we have earned and will not shed the disappointing moniker unless something great happens moving forward. I am just saying that with other disappointing teams that may be on the fringe/bubble along side ourselves, we need to get as much good spin as compared to other "disappointing" teams. Win the media war between the "disappointers"

Part of Doug's thing is seeming like he doesn't like people.  If you listen to him on Soren Petro they do the same thing.  I will say though that it seems more real with Katz.

And yes, he is starting to look like he is doing Quinn Snyder amounts of something
