Title: Omaha
Post by: Stupid Fitz on February 16, 2010, 09:30:39 PM
Where should I eat and watch the junkyard Katz tomorrow?  Any other Omaha eating suggestions are welcome too.

PS. Fox and Hound is not a good place. TIA

BWW on 144th between f and center, Brewsky's (kind of sucks but a lot of tv's.) is on 156th and Q.  Delta House on Maple and 108th had pretty good sandwiches/bar food.  Upstream is great food, but crappy tv situation unless you are at the bar maybe(172 and Center)

There is a KSU watch party at DJamer's Dugout at about 114th St and Dodge.  It's kind of like a NE Tanners.  We have an actual Tanners as well, it's just way up north.

BWW on 144th between Industrial and Q that Doom mentioned is also a safe bet.  Don't know where you are at in town though.  These places are all out west.

I am in the middle kind of, so east or west works. Do like upstream, but tv situation isn't good.

So I didn't take anyone advice because, well, I'm stupid. I figured I would just go to Granite City which is 2 minutes from my hotel. They have ok food and I figure I will watch first half and then watch 2nd back at hotel. Since I am in dumbville NE, I figure I better call to be sure. "yes sir, we will have the game.". I asked 10 times to switch it and finally they try and find it for 20 more minutes and tell me it blacked out. shazbot! you Granite City, never going there again.
