It was a big deal that day. It was a game we had to win and did in emphatic fashion. K-State hadn't done that in about 2 decades.

I even remember why that game got underrated. Half the team got injured and they hit a losing streak right after our game with them.

This was such a fun game to watch. It was Jamar's "breakout gam." That 6 game stretch in 09 is one of my fondest memories of ksu fandom bb or fb.

Man, I love KSU, _Fan, this crap is breaking my heart.

you can't underestimate the nu home win last year. so close to a loss. and home losses to nu, ku, osu & isu would have taken some of the shine off the kstate story. no 2 seed. no xavier double overtime.
