Want to go to second round NCAA? You can stay with me!

What's the max you'd spend? There are seats out there where you'd be able to sell sessions w/o KSU and make a decent chunk of your money back. And if KSU doesn't make the championship game, you'd make most if not all your money back.
-
They are ridic. pricey. I even e-mailed every garbage school's ticket office trying to find spares.
-
Don't panic. Tickets are always available, you just have to be patient. The key for Thursday is to stay away from uk's half of the bracket. By the time the semis and finals roll around, enough schools have been eliminated, there are plenty floating around. Yeah, you are going to have to spend some $, but it is not ridiculous.

If KU and MU land at 1 and 4 and we are at 2/3 we should be in great shape as far as this goes.

would also be good news for ksu fan ticket holders who would want to sell non ksu sessions. mu needs to get that 4/5 seed. 5 seed would be better so we could get rid of our wednesday tix.

Yes please to all of this

Looks like I'll be heading to the Big 12 Tournament. I don't think the days of Hilton South are coming back anytime soon though.

Haverhill, I propose a deal whereby I purchase your remaining tickets after ISU is eliminated. PM if interested.

Got mine. Does anyone know if Sprint Center serves beer on the club level like Ford Center did last year? The importance of this is negated somewhat by the close proximity of P&L, but it was ridiculously fun drinking tall boys in between games last year and necessary since it was a 5 block trek down to booze in Bricktown...and cold as crap too.

Pretty sure the Sprint Center sells beer everywhere. :drink:

Suh-weet. They didn't the first year except in that little club where it was a bitch to get into. I think it was on the bottom-floor. Had a big lady looking for wrist-bands that IIRC, you had to get in the club level or something like that.

Last two events I went to at the Sprint Center had beer vendor cards scattered throughout the concourse on every level. $7-$10 a pop.
-
I am afraid it will be the same as 2008, no beer except for the "Founders Club" or whatever and no passouts during sessions. I am pretty sure this has to do with the NCAA's rule about no beer sales at "championship events" even thou we are talking about a Big 12 event. The last Big 12 FB champ game at Arrowhead (09) there were no beer sales. :drink: :bawl:

Break out the flasks!

Warm up the flasks, mother frakers!
